Pecan Crusted Plank Salmon

  • Soak plank for one hour (submerged)
  • Cut salmon to fit plank
  • Lightly coat with olive oil sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Cover with grainy French Mustard
  • Cover with Brown Sugar
  • Drizzle a tablespoon of honey (back and forth motion)
  • Sprinkle with 1/3 cup chopped Pecans
  • Place on one end of hot grill (350& deg;-400& deg;) until it smokes
  • Turn off burners under plank keeping others on (indirect grilling)
  • Cooking time is 12-14 min .check to see if it flakes with fork easily
